We'll be indoor rockclimbing at Climbfit St Leonards on Tuesday the 30th. Cost is $29.
EVERY CUB NEEDS A WAIVER SIGNED AT THIS LINK - REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY HAVE BEEN TO CLIMBFITBEFORE. It makes my life significantly simpler if everyone has signed the waiver in advance for each of their children and I can just count heads rather than chasing signatures on the night.
Note the early arrival time of 6:15pm - this is to have time to get everyone into harnesses and briefed so we can start right on time.
We need a handful of parents to stay around and belay (hold a rope as the cubs climb) - please let me know if you are available to do so. If you are going to stay and belay, please sign a Climbfit waiver for yourself as well.
Cubs should wear close fitting comfortable clothes.
Just calling out a note because this is always contentious with the cubs - I do not allow the cubs to use the Auto Belay walls while they are under my supervision. "But I use them all the time when I come here with my parents!" I don't care - I don't trust the cubs to clip in correctly without an adult checking them, and I am not willing to wear that liability. After 8pm when their parents have picked them up they can do as they please - but it is a hard ban while they are climbing with Scouts NSW.
