Hi Gang!

We'll be Ice Blocking at Tunks park this Tuesday the 23rd of June.

Cubs will need to bring 

• Ice Block (See Below)
• Tea towel or old rag to sit on the ice block
• Helmet (no exceptions)
• Head torch
• Water bottle

Drop off is at the Tunks Park playground at 6:30pm.

Pickup is at Tunks Park playground at 8:00pm

For Ice Blocking you need a block of ice big enough to sit on.

This is smaller than you think - a shoe box or large tupperware container is large enough.

Freeze some rope into the Ice Block so the cubs have something to wrangle it with, and hold onto when they slide down.

I like to half fill mine & freeze, add rope and a little more water, freeze again that and then fill for a final freeze. That stops the rope floating up to the top.

Flying Squirrels are optional.
