Welcome back to Term 2!

We are coming back with a visit to Willoughby Council Chambers in Chatswood.

The Willoughby Mayor - Tanya is a leader with 1st Sailors Bay Sea Scouts and has previously welcomed our Cub group to the Council Chambers. We'll be taking a tour of the council, talking about how council works, having a Q&A and drinking hot chocolate courtesy of your rate payments (well some of you, anyway).

It may sound a bit dry - but this a real highlight the last time we did it three years ago - Lexie still talks about how much fun it was.

 

We'll be meeting at the front of the council at 31 Victor St - between Westfield and The Interchange. Please be on time - we will be let in a security entrance by Council staff and it complicates things if we need to come back out for someone.

Parents are more than welcome, and the Q&A can be a good chance to put forward any suggestions. We suggested very loudly last time a crossing on Rosebridge Ave and look at what is happening right now! It only took 3 years...

I'll need a list of parents who will be attending tomorrow so that I can provide it to council.

Cubs need to be in uniform for this one - and please make sure the uniform is looking good and the cubs are wearing scarves. If you have any uniform issues - no scarf etc - just let Nick and I know and we will sort you out.
