We are canoeing at Davidson Park under the Roseville Bridge tonight.
Please have your cubs there at 6:25pm - it takes us a while to get life jackets, paddles and safety briefing done and we need to be out at 8pm sharp as that is when the ranger closes the national park for the night.
Cubs will need:
Watershoes/old sneakers (NOT THONGS)
Clothes that can get wet
A towel
A change of clothes if they don't want to go home in wet clothes
The tide is on the rise, so we should have nice deep water to go exploring a little bit up the estuary.
We will definitely be staying in the canoes - but please tell me if your child is not a strong swimmer or is nervous around water.
